Topic: Effect of generation loss and load addition/rejection on stability of Bangladesh power system

  • Objective: To analyse and observe the transient stability of Bangladesh power system with the effect of Generator rejection, Load addition-rejection on the Power System of Bangladesh.
  • Software: PSAF version 2.81 was used to conduct the series of events that may cause the system to show aberration from existing stability.
  • Workflow: Load flow analysis, Transient analysis to observe the frequency and angle of modified system.
  • Zone: Ashuganj (Zone 3), the largest & most critical part of Bangladesh power geneation system.
